Cultural Festival
Today, we had a cultural festival in our School hall. It was formed out of different School Hapa Haka groups. First, we had done a little powhiri to welcome in the different schools and parents. After that, I setup the tripod and prepared for imminent performances. We had our junior groups perform, and had another break. We then had the different schools come up and perform, such as Paihia and Maromaku. After those, we had our slightly larger lunch break and I set up the tripod again. At the end, our senior group performed and we had our himene at the end. Overall, It was a really good festival and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

HELL SPIT: My ANZAC Recount
Hello, It's Mase and this is my ANZAC recount titled "Through The Hell Spit". For this, we had picked one of 3 types of writing (Recount,Exposition,Report) and had to write something about the ANZAC during the Gallipoli Campaign. I'm really proud of this piece, and it really describes the horrors of the Campaign. Anyways, hope you all enjoy this piece and I'll see ya later.

Simplified Explaining Fractions Of A Whole
So, It's just gotta make a shape.
For example: You could have 2/4 and a 1/2 and it would make a whole fraction.
Or maybe a fraction of an actual whole, 2/4 of 24 is 12 and that is the fraction of a whole.
That's it
Thanks

Maths DLO
Hi everyone! My name is Mase and this is my MATHS DLO. For this we made a Fractions DLO sheet about making fraction problems. It was easy to make and solve them. Anyway,Bye bye
PS: Here were the Fraction statements
12 houses
1/2 of the houses have trees
2/4 of the houses are for sale
2/6 of the houses are large
1/2 of the houses are tiny
1/4 of the houses have cars

Anatomy
Anatomy is a branch of biology that studies the structure of living organisms and their functions. It's a very long living science, having been culminated in prehistoric times. Anatomy studies are done in different things, including what materials are in tissue and how they function with different organs and tissue. In terms of different kinds of anatomy, physiologists are also classified as an anatomist, as they are interested in the production of bile in the liver and the functionality of organs in the body. Anatomy is mostly the term to use when referring to Human Anatomy, but Anatomy is also in term with other animals and mammals. Most anatomists focus on the anatomy of mammals and other well seen animals, but some also focus on studying the anatomy of invertebrates, like plankton.

Aerodynamics
Aerodynamics are the study of how planes and other solid objects have fluent motion through the air. The four forces of Aerodynamics are WLTD (Weight,Lift,Thrust,Drag),said forces making an object move up or down and quicker or slower. Weight is the amount of gravity that is then multiplied by the mass of said object. So for example,a kite is smaller than a jet, therefore the kite has less weight to overcome, meanwhile a jet is bigger in mass and has more weight to overcome. Lift is the force that allows objects to fly upwards. Planes can provide lift because of their wing design. The wings are curved on the top and are flat on the bottom, therefore there is less air pressure on the top wing and more air pressure on the bottom side of the wing, giving it that lift. Thrust is the force that pushes objects forward and planes support this by propeller or jet engines (Depending on the size of the plane). Drag is the force that tries to pull back on a object. Drag is dependent on resistance, such as running through water. Air gives less drag than water, and airplanes can resist more drag because they are narrow objects.

Kaiarahi Conference
On the Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, me and the rest of the kaiarahi took off from Kawakawa to Auckland for our leaders conference. At about 7,we had arrived at our motel after a LONG road trip (relieved...) and had checked in before going out to dinner at a place called Lone Star. We also got the chance to have a ride around on a Lime Scooter. Once back at the motel,we got into the bed and knocked ourselves out. At 7 in the morning,we got out of bed,had breakfast and watched a bit of TV and had some laughs. At 9,we hopped into the van and sped off to our conference at the Vodafone Centre at Manukau. During the five or six hours there,we had a good time listening with speakers such as Hana Tapiata, Lehan Stemmet and even Ronnie Taulafo (WHAT'S NOW!). After the conference, we had some Krispy Kreme (Problem?) and some KFC and left for home. Overall, it was a good event, the speakers were interesting and it was pretty fun to see Kings play live at the end. It was worth the mere 10$ to attend and I hope the Kaiarahi of next year have a really good time.
