Simplified Explaining Fractions Of A Whole

Image result for fractions of a whole
So, It's just gotta make a shape.
For example: You could have 2/4 and a 1/2 and it would make a whole fraction.
Or maybe a fraction of an actual whole, 2/4 of 24 is 12 and that is the fraction of a whole.
That's it
Thanks

  1. Hmm Mase, thank you for posting up some of your maths work but I don't think this quite explains what you have been learning. Are you looking at fractions of a whole e.g. 3/5 of 35? or equivalent fractions e.g. 1/2 = 2/4 = 3/6 etc. I know you have the knowledge you just need to think about how to explain it to others more clearly :)

  2. Kia ora Mase, it’s Dayton from Paihia School, I really like your blog about you explain the simplified fractions of a whole. The reason I liked this maths equation is because you can explain this to people who are learning fractions in maths if they need help or even teach them as well. What I think you did well was of course was you explaining what you did with fractions and what I think you could do is add more information for the example bit.
Overall it is pretty good. Hope to comment again.
