On the Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, me and the rest of the kaiarahi took off from Kawakawa to Auckland for our leaders conference. At about 7,we had arrived at our motel after a LONG road trip (relieved...) and had checked in before going out to dinner at a place called Lone Star. We also got the chance to have a ride around on a Lime Scooter. Once back at the motel,we got into the bed and knocked ourselves out. At 7 in the morning,we got out of bed,had breakfast and watched a bit of TV and had some laughs. At 9,we hopped into the van and sped off to our conference at the Vodafone Centre at Manukau. During the five or six hours there,we had a good time listening with speakers such as Hana Tapiata, Lehan Stemmet and even Ronnie Taulafo (WHAT'S NOW!). After the conference, we had some Krispy Kreme (Problem?) and some KFC and left for home. Overall, it was a good event, the speakers were interesting and it was pretty fun to see Kings play live at the end. It was worth the mere 10$ to attend and I hope the Kaiarahi of next year have a really good time.
Hi Mase its me Angel from Kawakawa primary I really liked how you wrote everything down that you did but maybe next time you could write what you liked about it and what you didn't but other than that your post is cool.
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased that you all had such a great time away and gave a good sequence of events... what was the problem with Krispy Creme?
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time you could describe the best part in a little more detail, or talk about some of the important lessons you learnt.
There was no problem, I was just being a jokester :)
