Comparing Cultures

In our social studies class we have been learning about different cultures. This work has included comparing other cultures to ours (which is what this post is about), watching videos about certain aspects of cultures and so on. With this piece of work, we were to pick a European culture and compare it to NZ culture. I picked Sweden, because why not. Within this, we picked 4 aspects of culture and compared the two, then ended the comparison with a P.E.E.L paragraph (acronym for point, explain, evidence and link). I did notice quite a few differences between Sweden and NZ, such as how the Swedish paint scenes of relaxation and how the New Zealanders paint more portraits and do carving much more than the Swedish. Anyway, I do hope you like this slide.

About me

Hello, I am Mase and I go to Bay of islands college. I live in moerewa and I am 13. I belong to the NZ European culture.
As a learner, I am good in subjects like english, science and most options (specifically like music and digital tech). I struggle a bit in maths and I have a MASSIVE problem with social studies. My goal is to pass maths and learn to do it faster mentally.
Some of my goals at the moment include:

To do good in science.

Do good in specific sports in P.E.

Do english better.

Do faster mental maths.

Personally, I want to learn the guitar and the saxophone much better than I can play now, and I hope to be a commercial diver when I get older.
