The Berlin Wall was a Concrete wall that divided West Berlin to any surroundings of East Germany and East Berlin from 1961 to 1989. The German Democratic Republic started construction on the 13th of August 1961,where it was deemed the "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart" and also nicknamed "The wall of shame". During The revolutions of 1989,the government decided to let Germans visit East Berlin and Germany. Afterwards,souvenir hunters picked away a the walls pieces,so then the government destroyed the rest.
Very interesting piece Mase. I like that you have chosen to talk about something that I bet most people don't know a lot about. Maybe next time you could add a bit more detail like what it looked like/size, height etc or even find a picture to support your writing. Well done.
